Chromatic Pink Saran Doll Hair

Saran™ Doll Hair is a long-time favorite of many people, and it's the type of hair that is most often used for Barbie dolls (but Mattel uses Kanekalon Hair on Barbies sometimes, too). It has a waxy feel, which helps keep flyaway hair strands at bay, and it's weighted more heavily than other types of hair. It's somewhat resistant to curling, so if you're going to curl it, we suggest overcompensating by about 50% by using smaller curlers and smaller sections of hair than you want the final result to be. It can be boil permed with very hot water.

• Saran is a bit resistant to curling, you can compensate for this by using smaller curlers or sections when setting the hair
• Boil perm with very hot water
• Boil washing helps achieve a softer, smoother texture
• Avoid using heat styling tools on Saran hair

"Length on doll" or finished length, is determined assuming that you are going to use one of the rerooting kits sold on this site.

Note: The hair rooted on the top of the head will be shorter than the hair rooted at the nape of the neck. The length on the doll is the AVERAGE length. If you plan on cutting the hair all one length, plan on cutting it approximately 1/2 inch shorter than the "length on doll".
