This saran hair is made by the same company as the straight saran hair is made by, so you're already familiar with the colors ;)

Curly saran hair comes in four different curl sizes. The photos below show you the actual hair, so that you can see the size of the curls in relation to a Barbie doll. This is NOT the amount of hair that you'll receive in your order. You will receive MUCH more than the amounts pictured below. The ONLY purpose of the photos below is so that you can familiarize yourself with the different sizes of curls. The smaller the number, the smaller the curl size. So, please take a look at the photos:

WEIGHT:

Now, as I said, the hair comes to me packaged in large bags. I made cuts in the bags at three inch intervals, so every three inches created one retail bag of hair. Because of the way this was done, there are small variations in the amount of hair in each bag. I have weighed the bags of hair, and below are the AVERAGE weights of each bag:

CURL SIZE 8:       1.00 ounces

CURL SIZE 10:     1.15 ounces

CURL SIZE 13:     1.37 ounces

CURL SIZE 20:     2.27 ounces

As I said, this is an AVERAGE weight, so the bag(s) that you receive could weigh slightly more or less than the weights above.

How does this information help you? Well, for a Barbie doll, you generally need .60 ounces for her to have medium (mid-back) length hair, and you need 1.20 ounces for her to have long (mid-calf) hair. These are generous estimates as well, and a lot of people don't need that much hair for one doll.

As far as my STRAIGHT saran hair (which is on the OTHER saran ordering page) which you're already accustomed to buying, one Barbie medium length hank weighs .70 ounces, and one Barbie long length hank weighs 1.40 ounces. So, now you know how these curly bags of hair compare in quantity to the hair that you're already accustomed to buying.

LENGTH:

All I can say is, it's REALLY long. REALLY, REALLY long. Probably about 5 or 6 feet of length, at least. So you'll need to cut it.

AVAILABILITY:

Like I said, there's a very limited quantity. In the event that a particular color/curl size is sold out, and before I have time to update the site and prevent people from ordering it, you purchase it, of course you would be offered your choice of either a refund or exchange, and if you choose a different color in place of it, the price difference, if any, would either be refunded to you, or you would pay me the extra, depending upon whether the color you're exchanging it for is higher or lower in price.

COLORS:

As far as the colors that are offered, some of them are in much lower supply than others. Because of this, the colors of which I have less are priced slightly higher. The higher the price, the more limited the color.
