Now, as I said, the hair comes to me packaged in large bags. I made cuts in the bags at two inch intervals, so every two inches created one retail bag of hair.Each bag weighs an AVERAGE of one ounce, regardless of curl size.

As I said, this is an AVERAGE weight, so the bag(s) that you receive could weigh slightly more or less than the weights above.

How does this information help you? Well, for a Barbie doll, you generally need .60 ounces for her to have medium (mid-back) length hair, and you need 1.20 ounces for her to have long (mid-calf) hair. These are generous estimates as well, and a lot of people don't need that much hair for one doll. The My Little Pony hanks sold on the My Little Pony page weigh .40 ounces each.

As far as my STRAIGHT saran hair (which is on the OTHER saran ordering page) which you're already accustomed to buying, one Barbie medium length hank weighs .70 ounces, and one Barbie long length hank weighs 1.40 ounces. And, like I said above, The My Little Pony hanks sold on the My Little Pont page weigh .40 ounces each. So, now you know how these curly bags of hair compare in quantity to the hair that you're already accustomed to buying.

LENGTH:

All I can say is, it's REALLY long. REALLY, REALLY long. Probably about 5 or 6 feet of length, at least. So you'll need to cut it.

AVAILABILITY:

Like I said, there's a very limited quantity. In the event that a particular color/curl size is sold out, and before I have time to update the site and prevent people from ordering it, you purchase it, of course you would be offered your choice of either a refund or exchange, and if you choose a different color in place of it, the price difference, if any, would either be refunded to you, or you would pay me the extra, depending upon whether the color you're exchanging it for is higher or lower in price.
